Coronet Peak
To commemorate Coronet Peak's 75th anniversary, Robin and the marketing team at NZSki designed a unique brand and marketing strategy to promote the ski resort's position as the first (original) ski field in New Zealand. While reinforcing the pioneering spirit and instilling pride in the wider ski and mountain community. Robin led the design and development for the project's branding and toolkit. The overall strategy included a range of activations, brand storytelling opportunities and events that have been launched throughout the 2022 southern hemisphere winter season.

Celebrating 75 Years of Ski at Coronet Peak
Over Coronet Peak’s 75 years the mountain has been the playground of many generations of families, just like Sue, her daughter Katie and granddaughter Clara. They’ve grown up on Coronet Peak, and in many ways it’s grown up with them, ever changing and providing wonderful memories over many years.
They know it’s their mountain, and like so many others it’s their winter playground and they know every inch of it so well and can’t wait to enjoy its wonderful, varied terrain each winter. No two days ever seem the same, and it never fails to seem familiar but also different as they find new lines and ways to play on their mountain, Coronet Peak.

Coronet Peak’s 75th Anniversary badge
Robin was briefed to design Coronet Peak’s 75th Anniversary branding where the audience would recognize Coronet Peak as the first (original) resort in New Zealand. The overall vision for the 75th’s brand foundation was to have a strong sense of pride for their pioneering mountain.
Robin developed a set of badges that supported Coronet Peak’s heritage, nostalgia and reflected on all the good memories that Coronet has delivered over the years.
